5 egg yolks, beaten
1/2 c. whipping cream
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. whole milk
1 can sweented condensed milk
1-2 tbsp. rum, if desired

Directions:
Directions:
In a large, heavy sauce pan, mix egg yolks, milk, and condensed milk. Cook over medium heat until mixture just coats a metal spoon, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Place pan in a bowl of ice water. Stir for 2 minutes. Stir in whipping cream, vanilla, and rum (if desired). Cover and chill for 4-24 hours. Serve chilled with a sprinkling of nutmeg.
