1 onion
1 to 1.5 lb ground veal (or pork)
1 bag of hash brown potatoes (shredded or squares) or 6 potatoes cut into small cubes
1 16oz package of sour cream
1 bag of shredded cheddar cheese
1 can of cream of chicken soup
1 tsp of pepper
1 tsp of salt
3/4 stick of butter

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and saute onion until soft. Add meat and cook until just not red. Be careful not to overcook the meat. Turn off the heat. Mix in the soup. Mix in the sour cream, salt, and pepper. Add the cheese and mix. Add the potatoes. Mix well. Pour into greased pan and bake for 75 minutes at 350.
