1/2 cup butter
3 beaten eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup blackberries sweetened (berries without juice or

1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg

/Beat sugar and butter until creamy. Add beaten eggs, flour
blackberries, milk soda, spices. Bake in layers.

I must say this sounds good. If I can find some seedless
blackberry jam I might try it. I have this recipe in Grandmother's
own handwritten recipe.
