Small box of vanilla wafers, 2 T. melted butter, 2 T. sugar.

1/2 gal. of mint ice cream.

Top layer: 1/2 c. butter, 2 c. powdered sugar, 3 beaten egg yolks, 2 squares unsweetened chocolate, 3 stiffly beaten egg whites, 1/2 c. chopped pecans,

Directions:
Crush small box of vanilla wafers and mix with 2 T. each of melted butter and sugar. Spread in bottom of greased 9x13 inch pan. Soften 1/2 gal. of mint ice cream and spoon onto crust. Freeze until firm.

Cream 1/2 c. butter and 2 cups powdered sugar. Fold into 3 beaten egg yolks. Melt 2 squares unsweetened chocolate. Fold into creamed mixture. Add 3 stiffly beaten egg whites. Add 1/2 cup chopped pecans. Spread over ice cream. Freeze again.
