Ingredients: 8 oz. sour cream, 1/2 c. mayonnaise, 1/2 c. oil, 1/2 c. almond liquor, 2 tsp. almond extract, 4 eggs, 1 (18.5 oz.) chocolate cake or Devil's Food cake mix, 1 (4 1/8 oz.) pkg. dry instant chocolate pudding mix, 18 oz. (1 12 and 1 6 oz pkg.) semi sweet chocolate chips, 1 c. slivered or sliced almonds, 1 c. or more of powdered sugar.

Directions:Mix together the sour cream, mayo, oil, almond liquor, 1. tsp almond extract and eggs. Beat in cake mix and pudding mix, blending until very smooth. Stir in 12 oz. of chocolate chips and 1/2 c. slivered or sliced almonds. Bake in greased and cocoaed bundt pan at 350º for about 45 minutes. Cool for a couple of minutes and invert onto cake plate.
Icing: Mix powdered sugar, 1 tsp. almond extract and milk to make a glaze to drizzle over cake when cooled. Drop remaining chocolate chips and almonds on top of the icing and around the bottom of the cake plate. |
