1 box German Chocolate cake mix, 1 14 oz. pkg. caramels, 1/2 c. evaporated milk, 1 stick butter, 6 large Snickers bars, 1 c. chocolate chips, 1/2 c. chopped pecans.

Frosting: 1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, 2 lbs. powdered sugar, 1 stick of butter, 3 T. cocoa, 2 oz chocolate chips, milk.

Mix cake batter according to directions. Pour half of batter into 13x9 inch pan. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Melt caramels, milk and butter. Pour over hot cake. Slice Snickers bars thinly and space evenly over cake. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and pecans. Pour remaining batter on top. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes. Let cool in pan.

Icing: Melt chocolate chips with a small amount of butter. In a mixer bowl, blend all ingredients together, add milk by spoonful to get frosting to consistency for spreading on cake. Stir in melted chocolate chips. Adjust amounts according to consistency. Cool.

Cake may be frozen until 1 1/2 hour before serving.
