12 eggs, 2 c. of milk (add more as needed for thin consistency), 12 slices of bread crumbled (more as needed), 2 lb. of bacon or ham, 16 oz. of grated sharp cheddar cheese, salt, 2 tsp. dry mustard. Add chopped onion, green pepper, mushrooms or green olives to taste.

Brown bacon or use precooked ham, cubed. Beat eggs, add milk, salt, cheese and mustard and mix thoroughly. Place bread in greased 9x13 pan and cover with crumbled bacon or cubed ham. Pour egg mixture over the bread. Add chopped onion, pepper, mushroom and /or olives if desired. Bake at 350 for around 40-45 minutes until firm.

This is a favorite brunch recipe and has been served at many gatherings. I usually fix this the day prior to serving.
