8 oz. (2 c.) Elbow macaroni
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 lb. American or cheddar cheese
2 tbsp.butter
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. buttered bread crumbs
2 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cook macaroni and place in buttered casserole dish. Melt butter in saucepan. Add flour and milk, stir slowly until it thickens. Add salt and pepper. Cut cheese into cubes and scatter over macaroni. Cover top with bread crumbs. Pour sauce over all. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
