Ingredients:
2 cans of white crab, 1 can of water chestnuts finely chopped, 1 1/2 c. grated Swiss cheese.

Sauce ingredients: 2/3 c. mayonnaise, 2 T. horseradish sauce (to taste), curry powder to taste, onion powder to taste, Dijon or dry mustard, pepper, other spices as desired.

2 cans of Pillsbury flaky golden biscuits.

Directions:
Prepare sauce: Mix ingredients to taste. Add spices as desired.

Mix together crab mixture, Swiss cheese and water chestnuts and fold in sauce mixture to taste (be sure that the mixture doesn't get too soupy) until it is the consistency of tuna or chicken salad.

Grease a baking sheet. Separate each biscuit into 3 portions. Place biscuit portion on the sheet. Top with a T. of the crab mixture and spread. Bake in 350 oven until biscuits are cooked and lightly browned. Serve warm. It works well to prepare the crab mixture days ahead of time and bake them just before serving. It looks nice if something colorful (such as pimento or cucumber) is added to the top.

This recipe is an original that seems to be a favorite for Nakoma neighborhood events. We make them VERY spicy!
