2 cups Flour
1/2 cup Sugar
1/2 t Baking Powder
1/2 t Salt
1 cup Butter
2 Egg Yolks-beated
4 med apples-sliced, 4 cups
3/4 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Flour
1 t Cinnamon
1 slightly beaten Egg White

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 4 ingredients and cut in butter until crumbs are size of small peas. Stir in egg yolks and divide mixture in half. Press one half over bottom of 15x10x1" baking pan. Combine apples, sugar, flour and cinnamon then brush egg white over all. Bake @ 350 for 40 min - cool. Drizzle with thin powdered sugar icing if desired. Cut in bars.

You may also use a 13x9x2" pan but bake 5-10 min longer.
