1 medium sized pumpkin
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. ground pork
3 large potatoes, diced
1 large onion, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 crushed savory (optional)
1 C. water

Directions:
Directions:
Brown beef and pork until cooked. Add potatoes, onion, salt, pepper and spice. Cook until vegetables are tender but not browned. Cut lid from pumpkin and remove seeds and scrape out strings (don't scrape out the pumpkin meat). Place pumpkin in shallow pan and fill pumpkin with mixture, cover with pumpkin top. Pour water in pan around pumpkin and bake at 350 about 1-1/2 hours or until pumpkin is tender. Serve directly out of the pumpkin.

Fun to make on Halloween or as a pot luck dish any time during the fall season. Don't forget to scrape and eat some of the pumpkin too.
