2/3 c. crisco
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 c. oatmeal
1 small can crushed pineapple (do not drain)
1 jar maraschino cherries (drain and half)
2 c. flour
1 tsp salt
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream crisco. Add sugar, egg and vanilla. Mix in dry ingredients. Add pineapple, oats and nuts. Drop by tsp. on greased cookie sheets. Press cheeries into center of each cookie. Bake @ 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes till formed.
