1 c shortening
3 eggs
1 pie size can pumpkin
2 1/2 c sugar
3 1/2 c flour
1/2 t baking powder
1 t baking soda
1 t cinnamon
1 t nutmeg
1 t allspice
1 t cloves
1/2 c chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening, eggs and pumpkin. In separate bowl combine dry ingredients, add to pumpkin mixture and blend well. Add nuts and stir. Pour into two greased, floured loaf pans and bake at 325 degrees for one hour. Let cool before removing from pans.
