2/3 cup Butter
1 1/2 cup Flour-measure before sifting
4 Eggs
2 cup packed Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Shredded Coconut
1/4 t. Baking Powder
1 t Vanilla
1 1/3 cup Powder Sugar
2 T grated Lemon Rind
3 T. Fresh Lemon Juice

Directions:
Directions:
Cut butter into flour until mixture holds together. Pat out evenly into ungreased 12.8.2 pan. Bake 350 for 20 min. Beat eggs, add brown sugar, coconut, baking powder and vanilla. spread over baked base,return to oven and bake for 25-30 min.

Frost cookies immediatley on removing from oven. Leave uncovered overnight. Cut into squares when cool.
