1 c. molasses
2-1/4 c's boiling water
1 tbsp. baking soda
4 c's flour
3/4 c's crisco
1/2 tsp. salt
1 lb. lt.brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Stir gently first 3 ingredients. In large mixing bowl mix with hands last 4 ingredients until fine crumbs form. Save 1-1/2 c's - mix rest with first 3 ingredients. Pour into greased loaf pan. Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top of batter.
Bake at 350 for 40 - 45 mins.
