1 (16 oz.) can cut green beans
1 (16 oz.) can cut wax beans
1 (15 oz.) can dark red kidney beans
1 (16 oz.) can chick peas (garbonzo beans)
1/2 C. chopped green pepper
1/2 C. chopped sweet onion
1/2 C. sugar
2/3 C. vinegar
1/3 C. salad oil
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Drain all the beans and place in a large bowl. Add green peppers and onions. Combine sugar, vinegar, salad oil, salt and pepper and pour over vegetables. Stir well. Chill overnight. Before serving, toss to coat and drain juice.

This is an old standard recipe which has been around forever and was at every picnic and potluck I ever attended during my entire life.
