4 C slice pared tart apples
2/3 to 1/4 C brown sugar packed
1/2 C flour
1/2 C oats
3/4 tsp cinnamon
3/4 tsp nutmeg
1/3 butter or margarine softened

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375. Grease pan (8x8x2) Place apple slices in pan.
Mix remaining ingredients thoroughly. Sprinkle over apples.
Bake 30 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is golden
brown.

Serve warm and if desire with light cream or ice cream. Grandpa
