1 1/3 c. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs beaten
2/3 c. milk
1 tbsp oil
4-6 cooking apples
icing sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl, stir dry ingredients together except for icing sugar. In another bowl beat together the eggs, milk and oil. Stir this mixture into dry ingredients mixing until moistened. Let stand for 30 minutes. Peel and core apples. Cut into 1/3" round. Dip apple slices in batter. Deep fry in hot fat (375). Fry 3-4 minutes turning once until brown. Drain on paper towel. Sprinkle with icing sugar.
