4 egg whites
1 c sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites until frothy.. Add vanilla and vinegar. Add sugar 1 tsp. at a time and beat, beat and beat until very dry and stiff peaks can be formed. Spoon on to a ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in 275 oven for 1 hour or until dry.

My sister-in-law(Joy Baldwin)used to make these every Christmas for dessert. She served them with ice cream and hot fudge sauce.
