4 tbsp rice
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 1/3 c. evaporated milk
1 1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp nutmeg
Raisins if desired.

Directions:
Directions:
Wash rice, add sugar, salt, milk and water. Pour into a buttered baking dish and add a sprinkling of nutmeg. Bake fro 2 - 3 hours in a slow over (250 to 300) stirring several times during the first hour to prevent from settling in the bottom. Lemon rind may be substituted for the nutmeg.
