64 Kraft caramels (14 oz pkg)
1 c. evaporated milk
2 c. flour
2 c. oatmeal
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 c. butter
1 12 oz pkg chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Directions:

Melt caramels with evaporated milk in double boiler. Mix flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, soda, salt and butter. Press 1/2 of mixture into 18x15" roll pan or a 10x15" cookie sheet and an 8"square pan. Bar should be 3/4" thick when cooked. Bake 5 minutes at 350. Sprinkle chocoate chips and walnuts over cooked crust. Spread caramel mixture over that and sprinkle the other half of the crumb mixture on top. Bake 15 - 20 minutes at 350 or until golden brown. Cut while warm.
