1 cup sugar
1/2 cup oleo (1 stick)
2 eggs
2 T buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream sugar and oleo, add eggs, milk, vanilla and mix well with electric mixer. Add 2 cups flour, 1 tsp. soda and fold in 2 cups of diced apples.

3 T oleo
3 T flour
3 T brown sugar

Mix together and sprinkle over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Makes one large loaf.
