1 c pecan halves
1 pkg (20 oz) vanilla candy coating, chopped
3/4 c dried cranberries
1/4 t nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Line cookie sheet with foil; sprinkle with pecans. Bake in preheated 325 gas oven 10 - 15 minutes or until lightly toasted; cool. Coarsely chop pecans; set aside. In heavy saucepan heat vanilla coating over low flame, stirring constantly until smooth. stir in pecans, cranberries and nutmeg. Spread mixture to 1/4 inch thickness on foil-lined cookie sheet. Refrigerate until firm; break into pieces.

This came from an Oklahoma Natural Gas newsletter. I am guessing Mom used the electric stove/oven, since I don't remember her ever having anything different. The date of the newsletter is December 2000, which I know for a fact she only had electric.
