Ingredients:  
1 chicken
1 1/2 cups rice
1 or 2 cans sliced water chestnuts
2 cans mushroom soup
2 cups sour cream
American cheese slices

Directions:
Directions:
Boil chicken until tender, remove from bones. Boil rice in chicken broth [ at least 3 cups of broth] Put rice in 9x13 pan. Cover with boned chicken, add layer of sliced water chestnuts. Mix soup with sour cream and spread on top. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Add slices of cheese for a few minutes before removing from oven.
