5 lbs or 9 large potatoes
1 pkg plain cream cheese
1 cup sour cream
2 tsp onion salt
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp butter
pinch of white pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cook peeled potatoes in salted water. Drain, and mash. Add remaining ingredients and beat until light and fluffy. Cool slightly. Place in large greased casserole. Dot with more butter. Cover and refrigerate. To serve remove from refrigerator one hour ahead. Bake uncovered 30 minutes at 350. Can be made and stored for 5 days.

I use this recipe at Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving. It makes preparations easy and goes from the oven to the table with very little work. I also make ahead a Turnip Casserole which is in this recipe collection.
