2 C. flour
3/4 C. sugar
2-1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 C. shortening
3/4 C. milk
1 egg
2 C. fresh blueberries

Crumb topping:
1/2 C. sugar
1/3 C. flour
1/4 C. butter, softened
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Glaze:
1/2 C. powdered sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. heavy cream
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
Grease a 9x9x2 square or round pan. Preheat oven to 375
Blend flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, shortening, milk and egg. Beat 30 seconds. Carefully stir in blueberries. Spread batter in pan.
Crumb topping:
Combine crumb topping ingredients. Sprinkle topping over batter.
Bake 45-50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Glaze:
Whisk glaze ingredients together until combined. Drizzle glaze over crumb topping after it has come out of the oven.
