4 tbsp. almonds, finely chopped
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 c oat, quick cooking
1 tsp. heavy cream

Directions:
Directions:
Mix almonds with sugar and baking powder. Cream butter until light and fluffy, then stir in oats. Add almond mixture and stir thoroughly. Mix in cream and chill about an hour. Drop level 1/2 teaspoons of batter 3" apart on baking sheets. Bake at 400 for 7 to 8 minutes until brown on the edges. Watch closely as they brown quickly. Keep unused batter chilled. Cool a little before removing and put on rack.
