4 c. quartered or sliced, peeled peaches
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. nutmeg, if desired
1 egg
2 T. cream
1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. soft butter or margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 425. Arrange peaches in pastry-lined pie pan (9").

Sprinkle sugar and nutmeg over peaches. Beat egg and cream
together, then pour over peaches and sugar. Mix brown sugar ,
flour and butter until crumbly. Sprinkle crumb mixture over fruit in
pie pan. Bake 35 to 45 minutes or until browned. Serve slightly
warm. For a special garnish, serve with ice cream or
commercial sour cream.

down onto the oven door when taking it out of the oven!!
