1 lb. Ground meat, browned
1 small box lasagna noodles (8 oz. Approximately)
6 – 8oz. Cans tomato sauce
1 medium onion chopped
2 cloves garlic minced
1/3 cup oil
˝ tsp. Oregano
˝ tsp. Basil
1 tablespoon sugar
salt & pepper
8 oz. Ricotta cheese & 8 oz. Shredded mozzarella (mixed together)
8oz. (or more) shredded mozzarella

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté onions in oil until tender (about 10 minutes), add garlic & cook 1 or 2 more minutes. Add browned ground beef, tomato sauce, oregano, basil, sugar, salt & pepper, cover & cook ˝ hour or longer.

While sauce cooks, boil lasagna noodles in salted water. Drain noodles.

In 13” x 9” pan, spread a thin layer of sauce, then place half of lasagna noodles. Spread ˝ of remaining sauce over noodles. Spread mixture of ricotta & 8 oz. of mozzarella.

Place remaining noodles over this, then remaining sauce. Cover with aluminum foil & bake at 325 for ˝ hour (or 250 for 1 – 1 ˝ hours).

Uncover and spread remaining mozzarella. Return to oven & bake until melted.
