3 cups sugar, 8 ozs. cream cheese, 3 sticks butter,
6 eggs, 3 cups flour (White Lily Plain)- measure before sifting, 3 tsp. baking powder(Calumet) 3 tsp. Vanilla Butter and Nut flavoring (Sauers)

Preheat oven 325. In a large mixing bowl add sugar, cream cheese, and butter. Cream together well. Add 1/3 of the sifted flour/baking powder and 2 eggs at a time and mix well after each addition. Add flavoring . Pour into a well greased and floured tube cake pan or 2 large loaf pans and bake for 1 hour and 20 min. Remove from oven..Cool on a wire rack partially before dumping.

NOTES: Use cream cheese, eggs, and butter at room temperature. This cake freezes very well.

I have been baking this recipe for over 30 years and have baked thousands of them. If you can successfully follow this recipe and create a cake as well as I do.
WARNING !!!!!!!!!! Do not share this cake with family,neighbors,co-workers, friends or basically anyone. You will be digging yourself a hole that you will never be able to get out of. I know, I am living in that hole. If you make a mistake and do it ....be prepared. You will be asked, begged, pleaded with and even threatened to do it again.
