First layer:
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
2 tbsp. brown sugar

Second Layer:
2 eggs
1-1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. flour
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 c. nuts
1/2 c. coconut
1/2 c. candied cherries

Frosting:
powdered sugar
butter
orange juice
red food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
First layer:
Mix together and pat into a 9 X 13 pan. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.

Second Layer:
Mix ingredients together and spread on top of first layer. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

Frosting:
Make frosting using approximately 3 tbsp. butter mixed into approx 3 c. powdered sugar. Add oj to correct consistency. Add coloring for pink tone.
