2 1/2 C Sifted Self Rising Flour, divided
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 Crisco
1 C Buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Stir the baking powder into 2 C Flour. Add the crisco and blend into the flour until it's pea size. Add buttermilk and make sure the flour is moistened well, adding additional buttermilk if needed.
Sprinkle rolling surface with remaining flour and turn dough out on to it. Knead and work in flour so that dough is no longer wet. Roll out and cut with biscuit cutter. Bake 400 until desired browness and biscuits are done.
