1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 eggs, beaten
3 cups or 1-28 oz can mincemeat
1 cup walnuts, chopped
2 cups mixed candied fruit, chopped
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 1/2 cups pastry flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 300
Combine sweetened condensed milk, eggs, mincemeat, walnuts, candied fruit and in a large bowl and mix well.
Sift together flour, baking soda and salt and stir into fruit mixture. Line muffin tins with paper liners and fill 2/3s full with batter. Bake at 300F for 35 min. Garnish with candied cherries and almond icing if desired.
