1 lemon Cake Mix
1 Pineapple Cake Mix
French Vanilla Filling:
5 TLB.. Flour
5 TLB.. sugar
1 Cup Milk
1/2 Cup Margarine
1/4 Cup Shortening
3/4 Cup Sugar
dash salt
1 tsp Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix up cake mixes separately and cook in muffin tins in muffin liners. To make the filling: Combine flour, sugar and milk in a heavy sauce pan. Cook, stirring until thick. Cool completely. Then add the margarine, shortening, sugar, salt and Vanilla.. Beat for 5 minutes with electric mixer. Using a pastry gun, make a small hole in top of twinkie, and put filling in tops of twinkie.

If you want to make Chocolate twinkies: Bake chocolate cake mix. Filling: 2 cups powdered sugar, 1/4 cup shortening, 3 Tlb. milk, 1 tsp. Vanilla, 1/4 cup soft margarine, pinch salt. While all together until nice and fluffy. Fill twinkies with filling and frost if desired.
