1 cup uncooked wild rice
3 cups boiling water
2 strips bacon
1/4 cup chopped onion
3/4 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup sliced carrots
14 1/2 oz can chicken broth
2 (10 3/4 oz) cans cream of mushroom soup
2 soup cans milk
4 oz can mushrooms plus liquid
1 tsp seasoned salt
pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Combine rice and boiling water in a large saucepan; simmer, covered, 50-60 minutes (if you substitute regular rice, reduce boiling time to 15-20 minutes). Set rice aside. Cut up bacon and fry until crisp; remove bacon and saute onion, celery, and carrots in small amount of bacon fat. Combine all ingredients, simmer, covered, for 1 hour.
