1 lb light brown sugar (2 cups)
3/4 c water
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 c soft butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 9 inch unbaked pie sheel
1 c pecan halves

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar and water in saucepan. Cook and stir until sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil and cook 3 minutes. Gradually add hot syrup to eggs, stirring constantly. Add butter and vanilla. Pour into pie shell. Arrange pecans on filling. Bake in moderate oven 350 about 1 hour or until set. Cool
