1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 pkg. vanilla pudding
4 eggs
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup light rum
1/2 cup oil or Crisco
Glaze:
1 cup sugar
1 stick oleo or butter
1/4 cup light rum
1/4 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Use a greased and floured tube pan. Place pecans on bottom of pan.
Combine cake mix and pudding mix together in a mixing bowl. Add rum, water, eggs and oil. Mix for two minutes. Bake at 350F for one hour.
Take out of oven, leave in pan. Boil glaze for 2 to 3 minutes, pour over cake while still in pan. Let cool, about 30 minutes, then remove cake from pan.
