2/3 cup shortening
2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1/4 cup orange juice
1 Tablespoon orange rind
2 3/4 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
1 1/2 cups quick Quaker oats
1 cup raisins
powdered sugar on top
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together shortening and brown sugar. Add beaten eggs, orange juice, rind. Sift together flour, salt and soda. stir in Quaker Oats and then fold in raisins. Bake at 350º 5-8 minutes. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
