2 c. enriched flour
1/2 tsp.salt
1 1/2 tsp.baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1 c. sugar
1 beaten egg
2 tbls. melted butter
2 tbls. hot water
1/2 c. nuts
1 c. cut cranberries
grated rind 1 orange
1/2 c. orange juice

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients; add egg, shortening, juice, and hot water. Combine until dry ingredients are moistened, fold in rest. Bake in greased loaf pan at 350 degrees about 1 hour until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean, Donít over bake.
