Ingredients:
1 c. raw peanuts,
1 c. Sugar,
1/2 c. White Karo Syrup,
1 tsp. salt,
1 tsp. vanilla,
1 tbl. butter/margarine,
1 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Grease baking sheet with small amount of butter or shortening. Mix first 4 ingredients in a glass
baking dish(bowl) and microwave on high for 7-9 minutes. QUICKLY stir in vanilla and butter and microwave an additional 2-3 minutes on high. VERY QUICKLY, stir in baking soda (mixture will turn creamy white), and pour onto greased baking sheet to cool. When set, crack into small pieces and store in a covered container.
(Cleaning your bowl & spoon is a HUGE pain in the neck! soak in scolding hot soapy water to remove mixture remains from both).
