5 potatoes-diced (5 lb.)
1 1/2c. carrots (2 lb.)
1 1/2 c. celery ( 1 bunch)
1 1/2 c.onions (3 c.)
Chicken base to your taste.
8 c. water ( 8 qt. )
1 pd.frozen noodles (3 lb.)
salt and pepper to taste
1 c. whipping cream (1 qt.)

Directions:
Directions:
Boil potatoes. While they are cooking, add 3 tbsp oleo in skillet, saute onion, celery and carrots. In a large pot add water and bullion (to taste)boil noodles. when noodles are done add vegetables and 1/2 &1/2 or cream.

*** Note the amounts indicated in the parentheses are for making soup for an 18 quart electic roster.***

I like to dice potatoes about 1/2 in square. shread carrots, and dice onions small. (leave vegetables a little crunchy). You can also add chopped cooked chicken if you desire.
