Cookie Crust:
1 1/2c. sifted flour
1/2c. brown sugar, packed
1/2c. butter
2 eggs, beaten
1c. brown sugar, packed
1 1/2c. flaked or shredded coconut
1c. chopped nuts
2T. flour
1/2tsp. baking powder
1/4tsp. salt
1/2tsp. vanilla
1c. confectioners sugar
1T. melted butter
juice of one lemon( I used half a lemon)

Mix together ingredients for cookie crust; pat down well in a buttered 13x9x2" baking pan. Bake in slow oven (275) for 10 minutes. To make filling, combine eggs, sugar, coconut, nuts, flour, baking powder, salt, and vanilla. Spread on top of crust. Bake in moderate oven (350) for 20 minutes. While still warm spread with frosting made by combining confectioners sugar, melted butter, and lemon juice. Cool slightly; cut in 2" squares. Cool completely in pan on cooling rack.
