1 med onion, minced
2 lbs. ground beef
2 eggs
2 cups fresh bread crumbs (4 slices)
1/2 c water
1/4 c ketchup
1 Tbsp. dried parsley
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp pepper
2 Tbsp. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion in butter. Set aside. In a large bowl
combine ground beef, eggs, water, ketchup, parsley, salt, basil and pepper. Add bread crumbs and onion. Shape and place in 9x13 casserole dish. Squirt ketchup along top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Freezes well.

I was never a meatloaf fan, but this meatloaf is a little different from the typical church cookbook version. My kids actually like it too!
