3 cups mashed sweet potatoes
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup milk or orange juice
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup melted butter (divided)
1 cup coconut (optional)
1 cup nuts (I use pecans)
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup self-rising flour

Preheat oven to 350

Comcine first 7 ingredients with 1/2 cup melted butter; add coconut if desired. Pour into grease 8x11-inch baking pan. Combine remaining butter with nuts, brown sugar, and flour. Spread over potato mixture. Bake 35 minutes at 350.
