6 hot or sweet Italian sausages, sliced into thin slices
1/2 lb. hamburger
1 c. diced onion
1 c. diced green pepper
1 pkg. sliced mushrooms
6-8 ripe tomatoes, skinned and chopped
1 lg. can crushed plum tomatoes
1 tbsp. oregano
1 tsp. sugar
salt and pepper to taste
1 c. sliced pepperoni

Directions:
Directions:
Bring sausage and hamburger, add onion. Add to these browned items the rest of the ingredients, except the pepperoni. Bring to a boil. Simmer for one hour. Add the pepperoni the last 15 minutes.
When serving this dish, it's nice to brown slices of French bread with mozzarella cheese on it. Place this croûton into the soup bowl; add soup. Enjoy!
