1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk
3 heaping tbsp. cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
4 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, eggs, vanilla and milk together. Sift dry ingredients together. Combine; roll out on floured board. Cut with doughnut cutter and fry in deep fat in electric fry pan. Can be covered with sugar when cool.
