6 - 8 medium sweet potatoes
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 lb. brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Peel sweet potatoes and cut into chunks. Place in pan of salted water; bring to a boil. Turn off heat. Place chunks in a baking dish (large size), single layer if possible. Dot with butter; sprinkle with brown sugar over top. Cook in 350 oven about 1 hour or until sweet potatoes are light syrupy. Remove from pan into dish, pour syrup over top of sweet potatoes. Serve.
