2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 cup shortening
1 pkg. cake mix (any flavor desired)
1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup nuts, more if desired

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Beat eggs, shortening and about half of cake mix until light and fluffy. Stir in remaining cake mix, the chocolate chips and nuts. Drop dough by teaspoonful about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes. Cool slighlty before emoving from baking sheet.
