2 cups sugar
1 cup shortening (1/2 butter)
4 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 cup cocoa
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/3 cups flour
Nuts as desired

Directions:
Directions:
Mix above ingredients well and pour the thick dough in a greased 12x9x2 inch baking pan and bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
