1 1/2 cups raisins 1 1/2 cups boiling water 1 tbsp. flour 1/2 cup sugar 1 tbsp. lemon juice or real lemon 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts (optional)
Wash raisins carefully and cook in boiling water until tender. Mix flour and sugar and add to cooked raisins, stirring until it thickens. Add lemon juice; cool slightly and bake in a double crust pie in hot oven at 425º for 20 minutes, then reduce heat to 350º last 10 minutes. Very Good!
